David Ely saw a career opportunity in delivering for FedEx. In January 2009, David purchased a delivery route and went into business for himself as a FedEx subcontractor. After a short time of using a leased vehicle to make his deliveries, David obtained a loan to purchase his own delivery van.
The Rising Tide Community Loan Fund provided a $35,000 loan to Daylight Delivery for the purchase of a delivery van.
