When Alice Kwiatkowski purchased Connexions, which has attracted patrons in Easton for more than a decade, the storefront exhibition space on Northampton Street needed a thorough renovation.
With plenty of elbow grease and a loan from The Rising Tide Community Loan Fund, Alice and her partner, artist Anthony Marraccini, created a modern, world-class gallery in the heart of Easton. A new garden to the rear of the building offers a serene space for the public to enjoy lunch and observe artists at work. Connexions exhibits and sells the work of local, regional, and nationally-known artists, featuring pieces that range from oil paintings and photographs to sculpture. The arrival of a new featured collection is always marked by a reception where attendees enjoy food, drink, and live music.
